The Sidecar hosts New Orleans songwriter, Andrew Duhon. This is part of the release tour for the brand new album, "The Parish Record" recorded in Maurice, LA at Dockside Studios. Duhon will share songs off the new record along with the old favorites. This will be a seated show with ~100 seats available. Get ready to dance the night away with one of Acadiana’s finest! Horace Trahan & the Ossun Express bring their signature blend of traditional and contemporary zydeco to the Southern Screen Friday Night Party. Known for their infectious rhythms and high-energy performances, Horace and his band deliver pure Louisiana soul — music that’ll have you two-stepping before you know it.

Horace Trahan, a world-renowned Cajun and Zydeco artist from Ossun, Louisiana, first gained attention with his 1999 hit “That Butt Thing” and has since become celebrated for his electrifying accordion playing and powerful vocals. A musical prodigy from a young age, he began performing professionally as a teenager, touring with D.L. Menard and releasing his early albums Ossun Blues, Get On Board, and Reach Out and Touch a Hand (later reissued as That Butt Thing). Over the years, Horace has continued to evolve his sound with self-released albums under his own label, The Redemptive Process, and collaborations with artists like the Canadian electro hip-hop group Radio Radio. He also appears in the documentary Cajun and Creole: Black and White, produced by his wife Chantelle Trahan, which explores the cultural and musical ties of Louisiana Cajun and Creole communities. Influenced by legends ranging from Iry LeJeune to Bob Dylan, Horace remains a dynamic and influential force in Cajun and Zydeco music, inspiring fans and musicians alike with his creativity, skill, and passion.
